I have a BFA in Painting and although I went in a different direction career wise art has always been an important part of my life. After raising our two daughters and with my family’s encouragement I started painting again as my passion for making art was rekindled! In 2023 I was introduced to surface design and that led me to taking an online course in 2024. Although different mediums, I enjoy both of these ways of expressing my art.

My husband and I are empty nesters living in a suburb of Chicago with our two pooches. I enjoy reading/listening to books, walking, hiking, traveling and hanging out with our family. A few of my favorite artists are Georgia O’Keeffe, Jackson Pollock and Mark Rothko.
